We are delighted to welcome new artist Katie Mawson to Glasshouse Contemporary with her solo exhibition 'Uncovered'.

Katie’s tactile artworks are created from her ever-growing collection of vintage cloth bound books - often discovered in charity shops. These faded covers, marked through time, carry a life already etched upon their surface. Their colours and textures form her palette and canvas as she slices, rips and skins these cloths from their board - deconstructing to reconstruct something new.
