A Solo Exhibition by Hannah Davies

Launch Party Friday 2nd October 6 - 9pm | Exhibition 3rd October - 1st November 2026

As we peer through windows, doorways and facades, Hannah Davies captures the tangling together of inside and outside, private and public. Light dances across a glass surface and fragments into creamy, impressionist brushstrokes which move towards abstraction. Trees appear indoors, objects float in space and figures dissolve - surreal and ethereal.

A Cornwall-based painter, Hannah uses translucent layers of oil paint built up slowly. She observes and pins down fleeting and ever-changing moments of pattern, shape and colour as light reflects on glass. This new collection of work studies the ephemeral beauty of light as it interacts with surface - softening the physical barriers we construct and bringing the wild, natural world closer.
