Nicole Rose

Nicole’s gentle and ethereal abstraction exudes a quiet sense of peace and stillness. A North London based artist, Nicole focuses on her emotional response to the natural world - often visiting nature reserves and recording the sights, sounds, colours and pathways taken. She then translates her experience into paintings - using carefully built layers of oil paint applied in a sweeping brush technique. Her limited edition prints are re-imagined and digitally re-worked sections of these artworks - becoming fresh interpretations of the landscape in their own right.
