I Think You're Wonderful

Laura’s creative practice evolved over time as a way to express the deep intake of breath and groundedness she experiences in wild places. These gentle, ethereal landscapes are born out of a hunt for peace and stillness during difficult times, and they radiate that sense of sanctuary which painting provides for Laura. She captures and abstracts the landscapes, seascapes and skies she witnesses - translating her inner joy in these spaces to artworks which evoke peace and beauty. Interested in the tension between order and chaos, Laura maps out the layers and rhythms that create beauty amidst uncertainty, aiming to capture the delicate balance found in the world around us.
