Working from her studio on Lower Clapton Rd, local artist Julia is in the business of Joy. Her artworks employ a fusion of monotype and screen printing techniques, many of them hand-finished with sparkling gold leaf. Through her dancing, exuberant figures we feel effervescence and playfulness. Clouds explode with colour and twinkling rays of light.
Julia's work reminds us to chase joy wherever we can find it. To keep looking up at the changing sky above us and marvel at the world we live in. Her artworks are a celebration of the human spirit and a testament to its profound resilience.
