Much of Anna’s work is concerned with transition and contrast - recently taking the form of people attempting ‘flight’ - divers, swimmers, wing-walkers and more. A whimsical and illustrative artist based in Bristol, Anna transforms her fascinations and observations of the world into drawings, screen prints, collages and paintings. Architecture plays a large part - Victorian and Brutalist buildings populating her artworks much like they have done her life - Liverpool, London and Bristol. Anna is also inspired by the nostalgic and the retro - her artworks have a kitsch charm and combine storytelling with visual playfulness.
