These Nameless Places
These Nameless Places
Original painting on linen - created using foraged earth pigments. Framed in a solid oak floating tray frame measuring 38 x 28 x 4 cm.
This piece reflects the quiet beauty of forgotten landscapes which hold a feeling of peace and familiarity. Using a muted palette of white chalk from Scotland, this painting captures the places we pass by but often overlook. A subtle reminder of the serenity found in unassuming corners of the world.
The Artist
The Artist
Mixing her own foraged earth pigments to create bespoke handmade watercolours, Lisa’s careful and delicate paintings explore our relationship to the earth’s resources. She is a passionate advocate of eco-consciousness and her work focuses on sustainability, climate change and the nature of existence. Each of her feathery, delicate marks ask us to consider our own individual marks, footprints, patterns and impact in the world, alongside the interconnectedness of all things.
This collection of works is inspired by the beauty of the natural world - cloud formations, dappled light and long evening shadows. Lisa explores the calming effects of being fully present and mindful living teachings, reflecting on how these ideas can transform our relationship with the Earth.
