Beau Roberts

Beau Roberts, a young emerging artist based in London, explores the interplay of reality and imagination through oil painting. Rather than a literal depiction of landscape, figure, and still life, he challenges perceptions of the ordinary. Emotion is expressed through his vibrant use of colour and shifting forms; inviting the viewer to reflect on their concepts of residual energy and reality. His paintings are full of vivid, saturated colour and unique markmaking - small dashes and strokes which sweep our eye across the painting surface.
